Abstract

In this paper, the results of the identification of the specimens of the Family Syllidae (Polychaeta) collected in the Cruises “Fauna Ibérica” II, II and IV are presented. A total of 96 species are reported, 6 of which are new for the Iberian Peninsula, giving data on the cruise and sample in which each species was collected, as well as the number of specimens on each. The new species for the Iberian Peninsula are the following: Pionosyllis dionisi Núñez & San Martín, 1991; Pionosyllis enigmatica (Wesenberg-Lund, 1950); Sphaerosyllis gravinae Somaschini & San Martín, 1994; Syllis cruzi Núñez & San Martín, 1991; Syllis thyrrena (Licher & Kuper, 1998) and Autolytus dentalius Imajima, 1966.
