Abstract

Specimens of Lepidocyrtus lusitanicus from the Iberian Peninsula have been studied. Two new taxa have been found: Lepidocyrtus lusitanicus nigrus ssp. n. and Lepidocyrtus lusitanicus piezoensis ssp. n.; they are separated from the main species on the basis of colour. The other two taxa in this species, Lepidocyrtus lusitanicus lusitanicus and L. lusitanicus coloratus comb. n. and their distribution maps have also been studied. At the same time a key and distribution of all species of this genus for the Iberian Peninsula is given.
