Rhinusa chaenorhini sp. nov. is described from Spain from various localities distributed from north to south of the eastern half of the territory. The new species is clearly separable from all the other species of the genus mainly by the unusual shape of the rostrum, which is abruptly contricted from the antennal insertion to the apex, and the shape of the aedeagus.
