Abstract


Two new taxa of the family Parholaspidae Evans, 1965 —Holaspina canariensis n. sp. and Gamasholaspis gamasoides canariensis n. subsp.— are described on the basis of specimens collected in Tenerife (Canary Islands). Idiosomal chaetotaxy, poroidotaxy and adenotaxy of these two species are illustrated and the chaetotaxy of the caudal body region is discussed.
