Update of the description of Typhlocharis algarvensis Coiffait, 1971, including unknown characters for the species such as male and female genitalia, pars stridens, sexual dimorphism, mesotibial hair and elitral holes. The taxonomical affinities of this species and the taxonomic value of the elitral umbilicate series and the shape of the gonocoxite are discussed.
