The Checkered beetles from Comunidad de Madrid

The Cleridae beetles of Comunidad de Madrid are studied in the present paper. The results obtained from a preliminary revision of scientific literature and study of abundant material, coming from several public collections, as well as many specimens sent us by colleagues are shown. All species have been revised including for each one, places and dates of capture. The Iberian Peninsula and world wide geographical distribution of Cleridae are shown. Nineteen species belonging to twelve genera have been catalogued.
