Una nueva especie del género Prionospio Malmgren, 1867 (Annelida, Spionidae) procedente del sureste del golfo de Vizcaya

Resumen


Una nueva especie, Prionospio rikardoi n. sp. ha sido identificada en fondos circalitorales de las costas del País Vasco (SE del golfo de Vizcaya). La nueva especie se caracteriza por poseer crestas dorsales en varios segmentos corporales y cuatro pares de branquias lisas, apinnadas y relativamente cortas en los setígeros 2-5. En el presente artículo se describe, ilustra y compara la nueva especie con especies próximas. Además, se aporta una clave de identificación de todas las especies válidas del género Prionospio Malmgren, 1867 con sólo branquias apinnadas que comienzan en el segundo setígero.
